This piece is part of my series surrounding the female form in nature. I wanted to create work that remind us of our interconnectedness with nature. I also wanted to remind the viewer that women are the earth and we in our shape are the beauty of the planet.
‘Hypnotize’ was made to resemble the ways in which water flows. Much like the female form there are no hard lines but rather soft swirls of light and dark circular depths. The understanding that the beauty of the female form and women themselves are reflected through the beauty we find in natural water systems is the essence of my series and this piece.
