This piece is part of my series surrounding the female form in nature. I wanted to create work that remind us of our interconnectedness with nature. I also wanted to remind the viewer that women are the earth and we in our shape are the beauty of the planet.
‘Birth’ was made through the lenses of understanding that women are everything. Women make up the makings of our world. Women are givers of life, love, strength, knowledge and vibrance. Understanding that the world is made with the never ending beauty of the female form. Understanding that the beauty of the female form has no imperfections just like our planet. Made with the love and acknowledgement that woman are the world because we made the world.
